house of horrors

So here we are again with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers facing
the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC playoffs.
We know how poorly the Bucs have fared in the City of Brotherly
Love. Beating the Eagles this afternoon might be an almost
insurmountable task, as their NFC title game will be the final
football game played in the antiquated cement dump.
This week, Nothing But 'Net visits www.nestofdeath.com, the
official Web site of Veterans Stadium.
Highlights
The "Read The Guest Book" link offers an array
of funny (calling Bucs fans Dixie hicks) and downright scary
(one person being pelted in the face by snowballs with rocks
in them) stories.
We were surprised to see the "Cheerleaders" link,
which by the way, features cheerleaders from other teams.
Annoyances
The "What Is The Nest of Death" link should be
right below the banner, not tucked in a corner.
What we'd like to see
Design
The ominous look is perfect. We also enjoyed all the old
Eagles helmets.
The grade
The guest book makes this a worthwhile visit. More Bucs fans
should be on there talking smack. There's no denying Philly's
passion for its Eagles. We think the nest is a four-and-a-half
mouser. (For additional Veterans Stadium-related sites,
visit www.700level.com).
